This is my first song. I wrote the lyrics after taking my mom to an assisted living place in Florida. It was the best possible outcome for her for the money and she loves it. But when we were driving that final morning, the sun came out east of San Antonio. And it was a truly fantastic sunrise. I started thinking about a lot of things and how this was the last Texas Sunrise that my mom would ever see. And it was a beautiful one to behold, much like the image in the video. I have much respect for musical performers who play instruments and sing. I can't do those things. While I wrote 100% of the lyrics for this song, I used artificial intelligence and guided it to create the instrumental portions as well as the vocals. I doubt it would ever reach anyone's ears if I didn't. And Mom would never hear it. She did and it touched her deeply. It would make my heart very happy to hear human musicians play it too. Enjoy.
